The Playa Oxygen Bar does not make any medical claims as to the benefits of breathing flavored O2; but clinical research has been conducted supporting that pure oxygen has several endearing qualities. Benefits may include reduction in stress, increase in energy and alertness, lessening the effects of hangovers, headaches, and sinus problems, and generally relaxing the body.
Visitors to the bar can choose from 16 different aromas and switch to any aroma during the 20 minute session. After sampling the multitude of flavors, for a few dollars more, you can purchase our handy personal cache of flavored Oxygen, so you can enjoy the Scent-Sation while walking the streets of Black Rock City.
